Prayer?

We like the verse in the Bible that says,  we can come boldly or confidently to the throne of grace. I tend to rub my Bible like a genie's lamp and forget the Awesome Holiness of prayer to "Our Father which art in heaven."

We are told to pray specifically for the little red corvette.  James says you ask amiss for your own lusts.  You have not because you ask not is yes, for our daily bread, it is also the things we pray for that His will might be done.

What a great avenue of the relationship of the Holy Spirit that is within us, to praise and communicate with and listen to,God,  the creator of everything.  Keep praying!

1

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
  Many are weary and sad;
Carry the sunshine where darkness is rife,
  Making the sorrowing glad.
Make me a blessing, make me a blessing,
Out of my life may Jesus shine;
Make me a blessing, O Savior, I pray,
  Make me a blessing to someone today.
2
Tell the sweet story of Christ and His love,
  Tell of His pow’r to forgive;
Others will trust Him if only you prove
  True, every moment you live.
3
Give as ’twas given to you in your need,
  Love as the Master loved you;
Be to the helpless a helper indeed,
  Unto your mission be true.
