We often give presents that end up at the bottom of a pile in the closet. How many times we have searched in; store after store, aisle after aisle, hour after hour, to see the item broken after minutes of opening.
Toys and video games will be given. Why don't we also give those gifts that are eternal as well. We may find them less costly but more valuable.
Bibles, commentaries, books, clothes, music, along with those toys and electronics can make for enrichment and fun on that special day. It could be an added blessing to (something not on) the list of; "What I want for Christmas."
We can plan to give the stocking stuffers and gifts that keep on giving throughout Christmas vacation and the following year.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Tim.
Encouragements from Tim to travel life's journey together guided by the light of God's Word!
