A Bum With a Sign

We ponder the idea; Should we have ministry to the homeless, should we give a gift to someone that seems to be homeless, when they might not appreciate it, or even buy drugs, etc.

You might as well wonder about anyone at our table or those who come for the day and don't appreciate the food or time spent.

Jesus may have been weary from all the takers looking for healing and deliverance and anything else they could get.  Many did love and praise him. He knew the hearts of those that didn't.

He did it with compassion anyway. Let's pray for the compassion of Christ.

    Regardless, we must be able to show grace and compassion. I would not normally just give money at the street corner but I have and I will. It is not for me to judge, only to serve with compassion in whatever form that takes.
